The year is 1944,
In the midst of a world at war,
Through her slot in time she arrives,
She is officially "alive."
Armed only with her map of destiny
that God has sprinkled with the stars
of what was and what will be.

She finds no soulmate on this plane,
there's no burning quest for wealth or fame.
She's just a dreamer, cast adrift,
waiting for the fog to lift,
taking solace from the time
she spends creating dreams that rhyme.
