Poets in awe
the beauty of the sea
swimming in the ocean
begging to be free

Poets in motion
Walking the land
Carving each word
Deep down in the sand

Poets hungry
Devour each page
reach for each meaning
to pacify the rage

Poets in silence
a blackened night
glow of the moon
shining very bright

Poets asleep
dreaming each new rhyme
Waltzing in motion
Running in time

Poets Forever
whether alive or dead
remembering words
stuck in your head
