Dedicated to the Otavalo farmers, artisans, musicians and dancers... Spin within the sacred sounds, dance close to the stars in the Andean mountain air. Twirl like a floating feather as sacred flutes lift your spirits in a celebration of diversity, echoing the choir of ancestral voices blending brotherhood thoughts, past and present, to foster the dream of Equality into a workable Peace refrain. We are One. We are One. We are One. Soar with el condor beyond steep palace-cliffs into pure cobalt skies devoid of society’s lies and self-indulgent subterfuge. Feel Gaia’s heartbeat beneath your feet, inhale the sweet breath of fresh air, and know... this is how the whole of Earth was meant to be. Dance with the Incas and dream of Peace on Earth. Indulge in brotherly love for all. |

This is one of those (rather rare?) times that I will not 'hi-lite' a few lines or images...I really love ALL of this grand-fine 'penning!' very serious and long-sustained applause [another of those 'poetic standing ovations'] for this 'write!' |

Midnitesun, This is very nice. The closest I ever got to Ecuador was working in Bogotá DC Colombia. I’m sure it’s a lovely place, full of lovely, charming, people. I always liked working in that part of the world. Talking about lovely, charming, people, my youngest son got married yesterday up in New York City. They're both PhD math professors. Bobby |

Thank you, Bruce! You're welcome, Barry. Bobby, congratulations!!!! Alison, then you understand. My Otavalo 'friends' are Quichua Marka, whose Runa Pacha Tushuri CD has been my traveling companion since I first met these musicians (summer of 1990) and fell in love with Andean music. |

Margherita, thank you for the visit! There are several Andean music groups whose music I listen to daily, for inspiration and to feel the sheer joy and happiness of life their music conveys. |
