Time is such a mystery, The days are very long, The years fly-bye, they're history, Too soon they've come and gone. Grasp each hour with passion, Every minute you should cherish, So quickly our life passes, And all but memories perish. Take advantage of your dreams, Make all you can come true No matter how long it seems, The years are very few. Think about this Saturday, Daylight Savings time begins, Another hour of daylight For family and friends. [This message has been edited by Toerag (03-08-2008 02:02 PM).] |

With the aging process comes the loss of family and friends, and our own mortality kicks in. Your poem is a timely reminder that each day is truly a gift. Funny how that didn't hold much water, coming from my Mom so many years ago Reminds me of the song, Landslide by Fleetwood Mac~ Oh mirror in the sky what is love, can the child in my heart rise above, can I sail through the changing ocean tides, can I handle the seasons of my life.... and time makes you bolder, even children get older, and I'm getting older too~ (you can hold the applause) Enjoyed your poem a whole bunch, Toerag~ |
