~For those that participate in Daylight Savings Time,
remember to set your clocks AHEAD one hour before you go to bed this evening~

Thanks for the 'Timely' reminder Marge.  I just finished watching a programme on Discovery about the most accurate (Atomic) clock in the world. Following on from my last post I got to thinking about time in general. To me the most important time of all is spent with family, friends & loved ones. Closely follwed by the time I spend on here, then I realised it is all one & the same thing.....hope you have a wonderful weekend & I will be looking for some nice floral posts from you shortly now that spring is just around the corner.....John

What a cute reminder, Marge!  I have info from a Dear Webby letter concerning computers and the time change.
___________________________________________
The computer's clock just counts the seconds since Jan 1 /1980.
Windows and other Operating Systems interpret that into a human
readable date. This year, at 2 am on Sunday, March 9 in North America
and at 1 am on Sunday, March 30 in Europe the clock display on your
computer will jump ahead an hour, except in Arizona, Hawaii,
American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the
Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. The Navajo Nation
participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, even in Arizona,
due to its large size and location in three states.

If you have your time zone set correctly, and if your Operating System
has been updated since February last year, your time will change
when it is supposed to.

If your computer clock is off by a few minutes, then your fire-wall
is preventing your computer from synchronizing with the atomic
clocks. Just turn your fire-wall off temporarily, double-click on the
time display and click on Internet time. It will take a few seconds
to update the hardware clock in your computer. Then you can
turn the fire-wall on again

We were just talking about this change at dinner this evening! I am taking it as a sing of spring, though you'd not know it to look outside! Thanks Marge!

Marge,

A very cute poetic reminder!  Thanks for Springing this one on us!  I have enjoyed both poems, this one and A Touch of Class.
(Seeing such a gorgeous rose while we have just experienced a blizzard is a real treat!)

  Enjoyed...
