Life and Wildness Beyond these grand darkling hills, as scarlet clouds skim the candent, water edged horizon, in a fine winter sunset’s translucent-ripple afterglow, twilight sings to a limpid moon rising over the sweet-serene, refreshing freedom of this wilderness, in whose presence we are most truly humbled…and ‘alive!’ ---b. e. adams (3/7/08) |

Secondhanddreampoet, Nice one. Wilderness is not wildness. There used to be a bar called "The Barn" up your way. A friend used to get drunk and swing by the chandeliers in the place. That's wildness. I was sixteen then, he was my hero. It was kind of dumb, his wildness. He graduated from Penn Phi Beta Kappa, still dumb. My son did Phi Beta Kappa too, but he's not dumb. He's getting married next week. Bobby |

I once wrote a poem called "There's a Wild Sky Over the Mountains" because that was the feeling it gave me. |
