I Had a Thought |

It could happen to anyone, I know, it happened to me... just me, I'm no one special. It happens from time to time, a freak of nature... a black cloud... a curse: Yes shhhh! I had a thought! It wasn't serious really, just a nagging awareness, an indefinable something: but it wouldn't go away. I tried television: sitcoms, sports, news, especially the weather channel; tried junk foods and lots of coffee; even tried booze and marijuana... still it persisted. Finally, in desperation I sought medical advice. I found out there is a treatment for my condition, a laserotomy of the loboteum or something... What a relief! I borrowed the money and had the thing SURGICALLY REMOVED! Now back to washing dishes and scrubbing floors and half my pay going to the government; the rest to insurance companies... utilities, futilities - no more anomalies! Entertain another thought? Never! Tell me what to think, I don't want to think about it. |

WindWalker, Don't be too alarmed. Many people have had thoughts, on rare occasions. They tend to go away by themselves in time. The main thing to remember is: YOU ARE NOT ALONE Bobby |

I just had to return for another 'official' read of this 'penning!'... Here in the U.S. of 'Amnesia' (land of forgotten promises and 'runaway' dreams) rational thought/reason seem to be (sadly) ever-vanishing commodities...ergo, the 'great experiment' in participatory, representative 'democracy' (of Jeffersonian purity) is devolving into (at best) a corporate 'mediocracy' of conveniently 'dumbed down' slaves...in 21st. century (electronic 'info. processing' and service industry) versions of corporate sweatshops; etc. continuing applause for this 'write!' |

This is funny but so true, reminds me of a poem I wrote once called "A Dangerous Thing" Ida |
