 He knows my heart, For long ago, He followed me, As a little girl, riding in the car, peering out my window, He was there, watching over me, smiling at me, I would smile back, He made sure, I arrived home safe. The moon knows, he has been with me, all these years, Since birth, I have been looking, wondering, He was hiding at day, coming out only at night, today is my night, I search no more, all along he was there, I see the moon, The moon sees me, Forever protected by his glow, basking in his light, For all eternity...
