Hallelujah!  Life’s been known
to bring each unto their own
not like an Eve for Adam
but awareness of two minds
abiding side by side
in the creation process.

‘Tis a revelation of a kind
to know the needs of one
can lead the other into love
and keep it there for life
jailed within the knowing.

But rises up the prisoner so;
let there be now no mistake
for materialistic viewpoints
have a will all of their own.

And then unto the body needs
the godliness bows out,
heaven floods the earth with strife
and men and woman close the door
on enlightenment.

Knock-knock!  You can’t come in
for pleasurable release, my friend,
has led me far astray
from that day when I believed.

Yet footsteps stumble humbly so
towards the door again, again,
somehow knowing the unknown
stands waiting to be known!
