Dear Deacon Doomsday, I'm sorry I could not attend the prayer meeting held last Wednesday, to bring sin to an end. Thank you for the invitation, but it's not my "cup of tea". By faith and grace, it does not suit my taste. That cup of poison passed from me. I have no throes to add to those who gather in their misery. No inclination for incantations or to take part in conjury. It's fine for you. Do as you do. But, I find no reason to lament. I think it strange You plead for "change" When He said to "Be content" It is by grace that you run your race. By grace, I've entered rest. Good and Evil suits your taste. I find nothing to detest. You'll do well in your bout with Hell It is a cleansing fire. In all you do... Let God be true and every man a liar. Uriah |

The concept of sin is indeed complex, I understand your point of view. I also hate the attitude of a "pointed finger". When we succeed in being aligned to the Divine Truth, when the intention of hurting another is absent, then we act in harmony with the divine intention. We need to know/experience the opposite of everything, in order to choose consciously what brings peace and joy. And then if change we wish to happen, we have to change ourselves first as Gandhi said so eloquently: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world". Thought provoking, significant write.
