The Quintessence of Love Midnight windows… empty mirrors… (of iridescent dreams and fire-lit memories) reflecting vast, distant moments in ungoverned forests, beneath a moon-burned sea of stars and frozen time, where lonely souls in endless wander... quest and query nebulous shades and shadows for the quintessence of Love! ~ [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (08-22-2007 10:28 PM).] |

When I have to build a stall in a barn I use minimalistic constructionalism because I am an incurable romantic about horses. Ungoverned forests are a blast. Liked it. |

The special word here for me is quintessence, the fifth element. (Air, water, earth, fire, and... ether.) In Greek, áἰèÞñ means the clear sky where the gods lived and the pure air they breathed. What a pleasure to see that word again, and how fine to see it in the service of poetry and love. |
