jimmy-joy's auto forest
and limousine rental agency
with pick-a-part chevys
and fords growing on trees

I just come here for the chair
that leans back and makes crickets
on the greasy hardwood legs
and the calendars on the walls

of some preacher's daughters
being flexible with morals
in return for tuition they say
to the school of hard knocks

and the coffee in a sock
dipped every morning at 9
in the blue mouth belly pot
on a oil burning stove

made from fenders and heads
from a buick after she was regal
in her day but is just metal now
that jimmy found under tow

with her rear end all used up

always somewhat amazed at how you paint the picture sir... the word useage and the slightly off centered view of the mundane and ordinary give it life...
