Intimate Portrait How completely fearless are the arms of Mother Nature Bringing great winds surging life with blissful favor Voices of her waters soothing the tone of mankind Slumbering on debts which may sometimes devour our time Her lantern's ballet with power in their candle operatic wings To terrace the earth a place of suavely equated gardens Gems of dominion like the God of her glorious deep Crown the footsteps of full moons while we passion in our dreams Soft her matted floor screaming colors of heavenly scent Bizarre selections of multicolored paintings, verification of her greatness Trickling down poignant harbors our precious eternal voyage Peacefully tumbling through warm breezes of life Outstanding milieu of seasons infused with birth like a midwife Unshaken in love, by an act of grace unfolding gestures of summer Knowledge of porous earth by odors of mountainous climbs & perils She is our might, our glimmer of suggestion most intricate thoughts hour-glass on a hill or glorious portal to some tropical isle Be astounded by morning, before dawn, while she sleeps Like the silence between two words, gathering inspirational deep She is the very human force of man, his labors and his mind The pulse of light, knowledge, experience and of continuous time She is a unvarying intimacy wrapping us in her afghan Wandering with livelihood dwelling within the heart of man Reflecting voices spurring communication with sound Green crest of the hill playing nature's music profound By Lee J. © 2002 |

A most fine ‘write’! I LOVE: “Mother Nature…. surging life with blissful favor(!)…”; “…her waters soothing the tone of mankind…” ; AND, I am exceptionally fond of: “Peacefully tumbling through warm breezes of life Outstanding milieu of seasons…” PLUS, the wonderful last line!: “Green crest of the hill playing nature's music profound(!)” Serious, sustained applause!! |

I sometimes do but it's mostly so very hard to highlight passages of your writes. The weave of your words results in a marvelous tapestry and this one in particular shows every detail. You're amazing! |
