Mister Half Moon

Mister half moon
I see you hanging
there in the sky
looking like the
left over half of
an apple pie.
Reminding me
blazonly that
my other half is
far, far away.
Oh my goodness
how I missed
her today.

Thanks a lot
Mister half moon
for reminding me
that she is no
where in sight.
Now I'll probably
miss her twice
as much tonite.
Mister half moon
don't hurt me,
help me make
it through
the night.
