Friday Night Boredom Relief Pill You know you've been royally sucked in again, like a few hundred times before. Your gut starts churning the same old song as you are led down the same old path. You feel a Dark Crystal essence draining moment coming on as some drama queen screams on the phone. You know you need an adventure and it's SUUUCCCHHHHHH an effort for most. You'd think it would destroy your faith in humankind but it doesn't. It makes the treasure hunt more interesting and rewarding when you find the one in a bizillion. You know there won't be any Beachboys singing as you settle in front of your vision box and your dreams come true. The blaming, complaining, explaining crowd becomes a mosquito flutter memory. You bet on the sure thing, the gut thing, as the new houses keep falling down around you. You know you look for passion to invigorate your otherwise unnoticeable day. Your get away. On all fours a lick and taste of another's tiger arch backed embrace. When you find yourself dressed like the one you love you know it's going to last forever. You know more than you think you do and a lot less too. Throw out the latest I don't care if I'm imperfect tests to litter someone else's boring day. Gone riding, you take the test, okey. You know the friday night boredom relief pill is as simple as your imaginative power and will. Shake off your lead brain boots, play away from the worn out stoops. Let some kid get the phone, it's for her anyway. De Anna Lane Aston copyright 2007 [This message has been edited by sweetbomb (08-13-2007 06:43 PM).] |
