Run. Run away from the light when you see it. You don't need to be rescued or saved by anyone. You are not a lost soul. You have your own light to find. In vast, open meadows, where fireflies sing silent symponies, there is light for you to see. In the throes of a jungle waterfall, Light glistens from the water that caresses your body. You are not a lost soul, for you commune with the highest of high. In the unfaltering grip of a lover's kiss, There is light in your hearts, as your eyes are closed to see them. Two lights, joining together. There is light in your heart when you sing in harmony with another, a glorious ballad to ignite the fires in the hearts of all who hear it. Run, for the light is chasing you. Do you run? Run away from the darkness? In search of a better existence...? Do you run to that ill-conceived light? or do you make your own? |
