Thought To Deed Just when I thought I had folded away all the satin Put silk into plastic and closed a book as complete Silence became deafening, beating louder in my mind Death is a sobering thing, mounting stark shadows like leaves Causing chaos in otherwise peaceful seas, defiant to pacified winds My eyes thirst for color on the path that fancied my footprint Patronizing autumn, when I want to slap the echo off the fields Sobs, shaking me by the shoulders, death is death But for the love that never abates or ceases its moist memory So, stop me at the willow bridge, keep me distant and invisible Let drift your charm as a sharp stick that reminds me of the risk Leave the trail, if you must, on the arm of some other future Putting all the past away, tucked into midnight tightly bound As I travel forward, my eyes see softly, looking out for you Copyright Kkh 8/7/07 |

this makes a weeping willow seem so significant... Putting all the past away, tucked into midnight tightly bound As I travel forward, my eyes see softly, looking out for you ...as we must... outstanding Hugs Lee J. |

You have urged me to add....I hope you don't mind, your's is quite good!! I stood, breath sealed against the roof of my mouth listening for the soft crunch upon the worn road, a road that travels an endless circle through a yard of countless tears and willows that wept the night into day...all the while asking me in that so well known whisper......Nay, say I to thee, for thy flesh cover no bones and no flesh colors the stark white of the tips of fingers that pointedly await me... |

"So, stop me at the willow bridge, keep me distant and invisible" so poignantly interesting ...such an insightful use of imagery. I am never disappointed when I read your work. The resolution of your ending left me breathless... |

Patronizing autumn, when I want to slap the echo off the fields Sobs, shaking me by the shoulders, death is death But for the love that never abates or ceases its moist memory there are no endings reflections of love echo the image of your joyous message |

TD, tears are literally welling in my eyes. Words cannot express how much your words touched me. Out of your painful loss, has come the epitome of poetic beauty. God bless you. Love & Eternal Life, Linda ![]() |

Oh, my heart! I so feel the love and the pain. And this: "So, stop me at the willow bridge, keep me distant and invisible Let drift your charm as a sharp stick that reminds me of the risk" outstanding! |

ThisDiamond, I can't single out a line because the it's like trying to single out a quilt square in an exquisite quilt. All are beautiful, but the beauty is greatest when they merge as one piece of art. A |
