The Backstairs Of Time immeasurable longing, inexhaustible hope, innumerable words, all leading to infinite uncertainty we areā¦ motes of dust craving action in stillness moorless boats seeking stasis in the Winter wind |

And though the light is flickering, we are the light that shines in the endlss night. Sometimes its hard to light the way when you're not sure where you're going. Ida |

moorless boats seeking stasis in the Winter wind Took all my words away. Beautiful poem. I love the title. I have never seen a well decorated, luxurious backstairs. So the backstairs of Time I doubt at all, are all good memories. If they were bad, and bad again, if one would step on, one could tumble down into the dark. How does Memory tricks us to paste our past steps into our future guidance? another "incurable Romanticism" love your poem. Tomtoo [This message has been edited by TomMark (01-24-2008 08:02 PM).] |
