The softness of the snow tonight Perpetuates a song too deep Making known its vehemence to be written Freed into the cold white air, and wrung Turned until the millionth tear has dried Dusting my memory with sensations so far away No, it is not pain, once numbed in an empty wind Nor would I wake it, to be longing Pachabels loops lightly in the background Silently staring, in harmony to the drifts Holding myself warm in waiting The night sky is stark and noble As I light linen candles and remember Copyright Kkh 1/18/08 |

This really is very good: "Holding myself warm in waiting The night sky is stark and noble As I light linen candles and remember" |

Yes, lovely write. I particularly like "No, it is not pain, once numbed in an empty wind Nor would I wake it, to be longing" |

Grand potpourri of images here!: Song freed into cold white air; Memory dusted with far away sensations; Pachabel’s drifting harmony; Stark and noble Wintry night skies; Remebrances by candlelight; etc. Applause!! |
