Mother Mary Spare my heart tonight I don't want to cry I don't want to hurt I want to fall in love with your Son tonight I need your approval look into my dreams you'll see that I am worthy God Strip me of my sins I come to you upon tired feet I don't want to live this life and continue to make the mistakes that make you cry As I lay me down to sleep Let my past fade Let the tears no longer melt the mold of your child Jesus Take me into your shelter where I will no longer be in harm's way Humble my heart Strip me of all my earthly desires Tonight and for the rest of my life I belong to you If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |
