Let shine, Moon on Crystal Sands Klover Sun burning, and anger churning. In this obelisk in the desert, In guise, these men plot, Whilst making beasts of war. But not in steel, theirs beasts come, But from humans, kidnapped to change. Helix sundered, and Acidic corruption, Man woman and child did go. Their minds intact, still they are. But slavery they bound, by evil itself. Training and beating, for effective murder As they weep in their hearts. One whos heart was hard. Human trapped in armored plates. Grown by his tainted flesh Meant for assult, unperturbed. One who’s soul, was trapped in fear. Beating and blindess were her only comrades. Sanity did prove so hard to keep, and bare thread it was Yet when their beings began to crack, But fate did intervene. By chance, they met and found each other, Their cells they shared together. His guilt to redeem, and to protect those fair, Led him to shield her. And her mind did see, what her eyes never could Wounds in his soul, and deep ones at that. Healed she did, unknowingly did. As he freed her from a shell of Parinoia. In desperation they plotted, an escape. When they realized in their Tomb, The obilisk killed hope the best. So ride out they did, in blinding sand. And when fate seemed ready to slip As he carried on, both for him and her, The storm of death did end, And escape was complete. They laid there asleep in exhaustion Tired from battering bruising sand. And when the night turned cold, She covered him with warmth, Sailing together on the moon. Sing she did, in tired bliss, Waking him, and reminding him this, That love is a thing that drive all mad, But when grown right, madness is right again. So, emotions lost when humanity died, Stirred again in them, Love captured both, with gently hugs, And a kiss that brightened the stars. The moon shined brighter, giving them time, To live in a world, of crystal sand. |

A wonderful tale of the power of love! I enjoyed this read immensely. "Love captured both, with gently hugs, And a kiss that brightened the stars. The moon shined brighter, giving them time, To live in a world, of crystal sand." (gentle, as opposed to gently) |
