The sad sad writings of a writers broken heart float effortlessly on a sea of nettled discord.

I cannot tell you who the writer is.
I cannot belay to you such information.

All you need to know is that solitude is both a companion, and a killer. It helps and it hurts, it lies and it tells the truth.

It is insanity in its purest, and yet more sane than both you and I.

Love wilts the soul, and is younger than a babe out of a mothers womb.

Irony?

Or satirical humor?

Nay, it is neither.

Coincedence?

Perhaps.

Or maybe it just is. Maybe there is no reason for it being that way.

Is that so hard to accept?

Or does human emotion play such a vital role in our disbelief that we come to terms with things that cannot simply be accepted because we as humans choose to disagree with the norm.

I simply think that love is a disease, and a cure.

It's a virus and an antidote.

It's death and life

It's heaven and hell

It's more beautiful than a meadow on a new spring day

And more ugly than the forest after it has burned away.

Our soul revolves around it, yet pulls away until the chords of discertainty are all that is left.

You want to live happily?

Then die early.

You want to be free?

Then run away from home.

You want to kill me?

Then tell me love me, and that your love is ever so true.

"Love is attained not merely through the sight, touch, or any of the senses; but through time."

-Robert Wilson

A good example of how duality rules our lives.

Very Passionate..killing me softly with his song....

I loved you use of words,
how they are direct opposites,
yet have a common ground...in the way you have placed them in this poem puzzle!

Welcome to Passions.
You wrote a wonderful perspective, that evokes response, even silently to oneself.

Is not love the our greatest teacher and test?  Oh, as our eyes are opened, thus our heart is new.

Thanks for all the positive feedback you guys! Being a young author - age 17 - I can be very self conscious about the things that I write, and how others will take it and perceive exactly what it is that I am saying.

Once again thanks! You all have no idea how much I appreciate it! I'm so happy that I "fell" into the world of PIP!
