I Am One day I will make my life what I wish for it to be, for today, it's good enough to live it just as me. I am not rich, I have no power nor have I many friends, I have no lover steady mine but I have the love each one lends. I am older and tighter in my jeans, losing my hair and youthful skin and I have scars of experience but I know I can begin again. I am nonchalant and yawning, more than ready for something new, I am capable and set for battle so bring me a cause or two. I am a smoker, I am a drinker, I am a feeler, I am a thinker, I am a bleeder, I am sad, I am the best you've ever had. One day I will make my life what I wish for it to be, but it's no rush, I'm doing well as long as you're in love with me. |
