Shelter

I've left the door open,
"you are welcome", I said,
if you should seek shelter
and the warmth of my bed.

I know, out there,
it is cold and wet,
there are so many things
you'd like to forget,
you know I always ease your mind,
when you come in, you leave all that behind.

So when the rain gets to be too much,
when you are in need of my healing touch,
when you ache
and those desires begin,
I've left the door open,
just come right on in.

You offer your healing touch in such a warm, generous and lovely way, dear Dixie.

Love and hugs.

and shows so much about you

You offer a warm port in a storm. That is so you!

A loving piece of writing, Dear Dixie!

My door is always open
Nobody here needs a key
For you are all much more than friends
You are my Pip family.....

Nice work Dixie, you left the door to your Heart ajar & I could see right inside...

Loved it,

John
