Rugged Terrain

Do you know what you're in for?
Do you comprehend this at all?
Do you understand the steepness of it
when you climb upside this wall?

Do you know how deep it is
or how rough the current can get?
Can you tell how broken the bottom is
and there's no way for you to sit?

Do you see the miles of me,
the storms of lightning and rain?
Can you map the way to my heart
over my world of rugged terrain?

I love the messages in your poems.  They are all so great and this one is no exception.

Hi Dixie, great write my friend, just keep the warmth in your heart and your arms open for friends, we all travel the rough road some days, makes us appreciate the smooth ones. Have a great day Dixie, your writing is getting better all the time, keep it up, happiness is worth the search.
