we were lonely together there
in our sandy warm seclusion
innocent in our adultry
it was just our hands doing it

our minds were elsewhereing slowly
with you feeding my temptations
the pale place kind of candy
that burned my mouth at times

something spicy in the sprinkling
of your wanting to melt me
special topping nonchalantly
making me crave what was down under

and then there was lazy laughter
that just lingered as smiles
residuing our partializing
with some unwrapable future

when time gave us our houring

I think you are the quintessence of a nonchalant charmeur, dear D., and thank you for the smiles your poetry brings (sometimes tears too ... because under the surface of alluring words, there always lies  a rare and precious psychological depth).

"the pale place kind of candy

now this is "signature" you!

Just popping in to remind you, that I'm almost always reading you.

This took me back to a little place that no longer exists (and no, it's not my hymen ) but a place on the Mississippi River where if you could find a vehicle that could climb the levee, there was a tiny spot of sand on the other side.

We called it "Son of a Beach".

Much Enjoyed this and thanks for the rewind on my memory.

Takes me back to a sandbar under an eleven o'clock hour sun and it reminds me of today.
