The Sun has risen
the leaven are still
as the wind blows
welcoming my presence
to the shadow of a new day.
It feels so good
opening my eyes
watching the trees
sway in the warm air
a breath of fresh air.
My neck tingles
as my temperature rises
lying in god's rays
thinking about how blessed I am
to cherish these rare moments.
As I breathe life in
looking around
feeling the sun set
I love writing about
how I spent my day.
