Reckoning this
Wrecker of that
Always the grinner like Cheshire
The cat that got the cream
The Alpha and Omega

Remembering this
Forgetter of that
Never one to show tact

Those first fleeting dates- candles and flowers
Now just rotted remnants
Of our failed liaising and figment imaginations

I tried to show you unequivocal love
Like a fool I fell for you
You turned my life around
Now a cycle of blame
Self perpetual fool

Those first fleeting looks- the holding of hands
Now just rotted memories
Cast in the bin

Always now, only the lonely
The cat that lost its 9 lives
The Omega and Omega
Stories of me and you
Self perpetual fools
Of our failed liaising and figment imaginations
