Asphyxiated by the jagged barbs that society spit Bleeding eternally from the words you forgot to convey. The world has created its own crucifixion from our falsification Drifting in and out of our fairytale lives, everything seems so much easier that way Choking on the complete distortion of the facts spill from our very mouths The only destination for these false accounts is into our children’s ears Incubating hate, pain, sorrow and reasons to discriminate Pain shed tears pour down upon the masses Half-truths injected directly into our already withered veins We lie others die, we die others lie Upon our deathbeds even the truth cannot let out its stifled scream We claim to perjure ourselves to make smiles appear Though the venom may seem sweet, its poison shall be come to term in time Evil prevails on our lips; our fiction spliced forked tongues licking them in pure ecstasy Martyrs have become a weekly instalment, in the forgotten memories column Almost all the great heroes in life have died from someone else’s hands for telling fibs Then what pray tell are the horrors that await us All of us tell tall tales, is death the only cure for this epidemic Or will the TRUTH be the penicillin of the 21st century. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |

I do believe in the awakening to love ... we are bound to finally recognize the true power of love. All else is deviant from the Truth. With the constant bombarding of horror news it is difficult to cultivate hope and act out of love, but if we let ourselves be caught unaware into the stream of revenge, hatred etc. we contribute to destruction. Powerful piece of poetry. Love and Light. Margherita |
