LIES one to cover another the defence of consequence the shield of punishment and the defender of shame when the tales of time will relay the blame you stand and tell your friend or you foe you make up a story and what you want them to know you stand steed fast with what you have said things to cover questions will fill up your head some times the bad things that you have done can not always be covered with just the one you will never tell the true events so that you are not subject to the consequence round and round your story goes whether its true no body knows when you get away with it once you learn to rely to not tell what's true to cover your crime but one to many sets you out on the road leaves you with plenty of time and no fixed abode to think what you've done and what you have said then you feel sorry for all the tears that where shed but still now you do it and carry on with old ways it just helps you get through the days some times its compulsive you just do it well even the closest can't even tell they have there suspicions but never quite see two people know and that is god and me when my life is over i will have to explain to peter at the gates and take the punishments and shame there will be no escape and be no discies saint peter and god can see through my lies |

Dear Andrew, welcome back and Happy New Year! Lies are a wicked thing you are right. I know a saying in German, which says: Wer einmal lügt dem glaubt man nicht und wenn er auch die Wahrheit spricht! Who lies once is not trusted anymore even if he speaks the truth! But I do trust that God will be much more comprehensive! Some lies are told because we don't want to be blunt with truths that might hurt others ... You wrote this well, with insight. Love, Margherita |
