mosey town in camo

something about mosey town
and heaven being closer
when you put small talk
in a plastic bag
like bird seed

and say it is ok
for me to buy just one at a time
for the metal eagle in my mind
that never flies
except on occasional fridays

when your charms are in camo
with a smile that tiptoes
from the sides of your woman
and makes me forget my lines
although I read them a hundred times

to the velvet trees behind
the other side of your thoughts
where you parked your solitude
and wore your contemplation
as a strapless gown with velvet nails

mosey town is mostly heaven then

I moseyed through the poem and found the third stanza to my liking. It seems people had stopped there often in the past.
