Red sheets between soft skin
can you feel me
when I move away
leaving the warmth to die out
as the cold air takes it's place

The difference between clouds
and clear skies
is
a question of movement
a question of love

If I breathe in
will your lungs swell
If I sing
will your ears burn
If I speak
will you listen

If I move
will you pull me close
or let the cold air take my place
as the distance expands

"If I breathe in
will your lungs swell
If I sing
will your ears burn
If I speak
will you listen

If I move

or let the cold air take my place
as the distance expands"

I liked all of it so much, but this is amazing

exhale, this is just a wonderful write and one I read a few times, it has so much in it, intimate surroundings, love and need, very much enjoyed, thank you for sharing this.

Being alone is something that each of us has to deal with and I am very fond of the way that you deal with it. Being detached even in a very personal moment seems to be so natural with the context that you put it in, even though to many it seems so unnatural.
