Christmas in his foster home was never any fun for Felix. It was always the same old crap, do this, do that, do everything, and wait on the Mr. and the Mrs. with their pair of nasty, ugly brats. As he grew older, fifteen or so, he found a cure for that. He’d go with Butch and Wawa, down to the City Park. They’d put the jack roll on some poor demented Queen. It gave them enough to party all the way past New Year’s. Felix never got over his problem. He’s hated Christmas to this very day. Bobby |

glad to see Felix (and 'reality') traversing the 'blue sands' of "P.I.P.-land! once again!" Applause! |

Tomtoo, Thanks for the kind words. As Dolly Partton used to say on the”Grand Ole Oprey”, Felix is just as proud to be here. Secondhanddreampoet, Thanks for the applause. Felix knows a lot about “reality”, the good and the bad. He’s well “educated” that way. Bobby |

Yo Bob-E, Good to see you here again and to read the latest about Felix. Thought I saw him and Sally the other day down at Kensington & Allegheny, speaking of reality. |

Wishing Felix and Sally a safe and happy winter. This season always offers a mixed bag of emotions, with the good and bad all rolled up together in one giant reality package. |

Yo ArtSolstice, Yes, that’s them. Sally and Felix hang at K&A quite often. Midnitesun, Exactly--winter treats Sally and Felix much better than in former days. It’s such a blessing to be in a nice warm house. We all thank you, and wish you an excellent winter. Bobby |

Dear Bobby, you tag at our heart strings with this one about Felix ... surely our childhood experiences follow us for a life-time. Did you hear my sigh? Love, Margherita ![]() |

Roniece, Thanks for your comments. Felix has a fine soul, and he likes Jesus just fine. He’s a good Catholic boy. It just so happens he doesn’t care much for Christmas. That thing of living in a house where everyone was getting stuff for Christmas, and he wasn’t getting any thing disturbed him a bit. He also realizes that other kids are out there putting up with the same crap. Passing Shadows, It’s great to see you back, you’ve been missed. Felix and Sally are hanging in there as best they can. There doing pretty well actually. Margherita, I’m glad this one got to you. What you say about the past is true. It’s something you can’t shake or get away from. It’s a learning experience. Bobby |

Christmas can be a trying time for a few children. It is a bit rare I must admit. |
