The flame of spirit rises up within the psyche, see and sets loose a water flow from hairline to the chest where gathers so each drip and drop of amazing love in conference, it seems, to decide on strategy. Time has wrought a ghastly war between the seen/unseen where surrender floods the cheeks with abandonment and fight builds a woman’s need up to breaking point and keeps it there a-boiling and bubbling within. But the flame of spirit doubled in heat and energy no master of the physical’s effective override that confines a mind to ignorance and kills the line of fire. Today in the here and now where time has laid neglect the burnt remains of saving grace mingle with the dirt lost to the weightlessness that enabled a liftoff into the best of what the future holds. No strategy required when he who sweats believes ‘tis just the flames of summer sun licking at the skin! Helen / 13 December 2007 www.dreamtimepoetry.com |

quote: I am impressed by the poetic force of your poem, dear Helen! The best strategy is perceived when listening in silence to the heart whispers ... at least for me. Love, Margherita |
