I am from where I began
a petal on a celestial stem,
I came down to Gaia
for I like to pretend.
I came with my sisters
and brothers and friends
and we became children
to learn where we’ve been.
We became children
learning to crawl
when all that we wanted
was the All That Is All.
I forgot I was special,
a speck of the Light,
and stayed in my body
both day and most nights.
But dreams came to visit
reminding me of
the other dimension
and all of the LOVE.
It’s different down here
where love is a lesson;
the LOVE that I feel
is only a blessing.
It calls out to me
to be kinder than human
and forget fleshly habits
that only bring ruin.
It reminds me I’m part of
an ocean of song
and a spec in the prism
of Light – not alone.

Wow, wow, dear Jo, I am so happy you followed Linda's invitation.

This is special, quite special, totally after my heart, simply a joy to read and to recognize you fully in your portrait "where I am from".

Margherita, thank you dear one! I think, however, it was Sunshine's challenge so I will formally dedicate this to her, as well, as all my sisters and brothers at PIP. The inspiration to dedicate it to Linda, however, was received so I will leave the title just like it is. Thanks again.

Yes, I know about those dreams and mine keep reminding me that love is "there" not "here". Perhaps it's supposed to make the living easier but it doesn't always work that way.
