Can I tell you what I need Do you already know? I don’t ask for furs or diamond rings I want my sanctuary A place I call my own A place within your heart Which no one owns but me
Can I tell you what I need Yearning for your mind , body and soul Your eyes looking into mine …just because Your hand touching mine just so that I know u are there Your body pressed against mine for a minute So that I can feel your want, your warmth, your need A hug from you would mean the world A tender word would set the mood Astolen kiss would make me yours
Can I tell you what I need from you Your unconditional love The same love I give to you every day Your support with no strings attached Just your heart willing to give it For you to hold me tight when I am feeling down A comforting word when my life seems upside down The knowledge that I can lean on you No matter what…
Can I tell you what I would give to you All that I am, all that am not Unconditional love, that is selfless My body .. the temple to my soul My mind, the owner of my heart You would get all that you never got All that was never given to you willing I will give to youwithout a doubt That love you don’t believein, yet you yearn for I would give to you…. All that I expect from you, I would give to you

fine, powerfully emotive 'write'!
[I don't really like the photo.-image accompanying it however]
I am GRANDLY fond of:
"Can I tell you what I need Do you already know? I don’t ask for furs or diamond rings I want my sanctuary A place I call my own A place within your heart Which no one owns but me"
long-sustained applause!!

Dear dear Jen. Well, I don't know you in person and so don't want to resort to the usual polite platitudes "that this is great ... nice work ... t a t a ta ...nice work tec, etc ...) Anybody can say that vacuous stuff that you know doesn't really mean anything. I can't even look into your eyes to see what color they are, etc. I will just tell you that you when I vividly imagine that when you sit beside me on this couch, and hold my hand, and you whisper in the only ear I have left, of what you need (and how many people tell me that stuff) And when I imagine that your body is pressed against mine, rippling with life, gratitude, need and desire, My eyes are full. You open to me a deep and directly honest understanding of how a woman thinks and needs and yearns and longs for in the secret privacy of her heart and chambers. Maybe even the chambers of her heart. Something that will never be revealed to me by anyone I know in person, probably, because the don't know me. And you are telling me! (Well it's not just me it's really everybody) tatata). I will never see you in person ... I can't even see the photos people post up here ... But for as long as I keep this write you will always be with me in your arms, whispering in my ear even when my ears hurt and I can't hear, and always conveying to me through the non-verbal movements and the breathing of your body what words were never meant to do. And I won't even say thank you (oh anybody can do that ho hum) because ...because You already know ... You already know !!!

"I want my sanctuary A place I call my own A place within your heart Which no one owns but me" and "A comforting word when my life seems upside down The knowledge that I can lean on you No matter what"
I relate to these thoughts completely! Well done, poet! (a library keeper)

It is a good emotional write as said above. I take as the only exception the phrase "all that am not" which you cannot possibly give. However, since you are giving everything else, what more could one ask of you?
Well done! Write on Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
