winter fawn of christmas snow

tranquil hush of melody
alyssum mist effaced
in stroll
like a
monolithic intellectual design
of quiet laced variant shapes
christmas snow
      in Morse code
focusing little skill
from earth's bountiful
yuletide solemnity
wherein
that I might best know
the heaviness of faith
and its whimsical beauty

storm of serendipity
could reckon a genus
of white mollusks
caressing my face and nose
like a grammatical slang of artic
blasting frozen
benevolence
to the senses
off moons of Jupiter

aye,
a cooing gentleness of seedlings
siren quiet, plows enchanting
meanings
to winter white and
voice tress hearthstones

hugs my soul

nightglow's witchcraft
embraces liaison

benchmarks of warmth
tranquil
aardvarks of mistletoe

enchanting wizard

chablis nymphs

a winter fawn

       of Christmas snow

remember this daughter well....

                a mother's love

    to son's of life....

and Christmas snow

I want to embrace

    a winter white

and song of yuletide verse of glow

Lee! Well it was about time you came back to the family fold! Gosh, I sure have been missing  your poetry ~ and YOU!

My goodness! Whenever I go to write a reply to a poem of yours, I am in a quandary as to which lines to quote as my favourites. Well, after due consideration, these are the ones I selected:

"earth's bountiful
yuletide solemnity
wherein
that I might best know
the heaviness of faith
and its whimsical beauty"

Thank you for this gift of your poetic beauty, this (almost) winter's day!

You work in words as the artist works in deep oils and color pallets.
Couldn't find just one favorite line.
Nice to read you again lady!

Of course I always love all of yours....but in this, my favorite lines...

"I remember this daughter well....

and a mother's love

    to son's of life....

and Christmas snow

    a winter white"

As usual...
