.

Is this the one
Who among friends
And strangers
Yet was singled out
Every day

At every lunch
Time and during
Every study hall
When the only subject
Was her

Now I hardly recognize
In all that flesh
Dressed with such
Diminished colors
The Venus
Of my student years

Then she turns
Again
Those soft brown eyes

Oh Yes
I knew her well

.

Interesting poem. That's the way life is.
Did she recognise you?

MM,

Never happened.  Sometimes
I simply imagine how it would have been

Thanks for reading.
