When Teddy Bear’s Play Every child can use a Teddy Bear, one to love and kiss and hold. A Teddy to hug while they are sleeping; against a child’s body it can mold. *** But when a child sleeps at night what is a poor Teddy Bear to do? He wants to jump up and play and run; He loves to find a Jungle Gym or two ***  *** A Teddy Bear needs to explore the big wide world. He needs to jump high and run around. He might find a friend to lend a paw to get the treasures high above the ground. ***  *** Sometimes Teddy Bears comes in twos and threes, for it’s hard for a baby bear to leave his mother. And life becomes even more interesting when he gets to play with his twin brother ***  *** Little Bears, like little children, love to explore and learn They peek and pull and take tiny bear-sized bites. And when it’s time for a tasty bearish snack, it’s smart to know how to turn on the kitchen light. ***  *** Teddy Bears are not afraid to climb high to watch the glow of the Midnight Sun. While sleepy children write stories in their dreams, Teddy Bears plan another day of fun. ***  *** But before it's time to go to bed and sleep A Teddy Bear needs a before-bed-snack. I have two teddy bears so that they can keep each other company while I 'try' to sleep at night!  Alison, what an amusing and beguiling post! My smile is so broad, that my cheeks are stinging! Thank you all. (laughs) That's what insomnia does to a person. I was longing for hot chocolate --- and my Teddy Bear. Please pass on as you may like - and yes, I too got the pictures off of some email thingy. oh, and Admins, I know I pushed the picture quota - it was sheer stubborness on my part as I am on dialup still and just getting them into Photobucket was an ordeal last night. If I have violated picture use, I won't be upset if the poem disappears. I still have it. A |

Nice writing...looks like Bears Gone Wild...and reminds me of the teacher that named a teddy bear an unacceptable name and got herself arrested and deported. Anymore teachers that want to volunteer to teach in foreign countries? James |
