Reality

In future times of time gone by
humanity reached for the sky.

In present times of history
our ancestors could never see
that future realms born of the past
were just like past and couldn't last.

With time so closely intertwined
it's not surprising we have dined
on stew of now and history
while future stays a mystery.

The moment now will always last
it shares the future and the past,
for it is now's reality
this moment's all there's meant to be.

The present moment’s never done
this time is shared by everyone,
while future past can never be
the moment of reality.

Ivor G Davies

The moment created this second, is a  moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.

Hi, Ivor! Another sage and philosophical penning!

"The moment now will always last
it shares the future and the past,
for it is now's reality
this moment's all there's meant to be."

Live in the now and just be!
Life is a lot less complicated that way, as well!

Duh…? I live for the future with one foot in the past……too stupid to turn the current moment in time into some fantastic profit….. probably because I’m happy how things are.

RDB,

Thank you for letting me know that my ramblings can sometimes be acceptable to a reader!

Linda,

I thought the deliberate 'clashing' of language I wrote into the first few lines might make people 'struggle' to interperet my meaning, but it never seems to phase my more 'discerning' readers!

Thanks once again for looking in.

Eric,

And I thought I mixed up language for effect!

"Live for the future"
"one foot in the past"

"I'm happy how things are"

Sound to me that your final comment says clearly that you live for the moment!

You are getting to be a cantankerous old bugger!

Hi Ivor

Of course...I live trapped in a moment of time (just eight hours in arrear of you) but I dont believe in Burning Bridges and I am open to change...

Just a case of keeping everything covered..

I cant be "Cantankerous" because I find it  hard to say No! and I am smiling and laughing all day...

Apart from that.... too much fun can be exausting.....

Eric
