I've been writing a lot lately... ----- And gently I'll lift this broken soul again, from yet another fallen failure. The shadows that consumed my past, they now blind my future... I know they've won. It's not your words I cannot grasp, it's how they mean nothing. You've broken your grace on my soul, but it was I left limped. You were forged in hate, but briefly loved; I know you've won. Please, - spare me; let it be over, don't ignore my plea; I can't hide from this... not now. I cannot sulk, please, not now. It's in finality that my deadened heart, beating alas, ...surrenders, I know I've lost. Edited last lines a bit.  [This message has been edited by Connel (11-11-2007 12:51 AM).] |
