Each night, as I lay you to sleep, you kiss my eyes, and then my cheeks. We sing of bitsy spiders and li'l twinkled stars, -and I think- do you know how beautiful you are? I'm often scared I'll lose you someday, It's proven a feeling that won't go away. To live a life without your embrace, -it would be- like never seeing God's tender face. Sweet Caelin, I love you a thousand times over, a love as rare as the sweetest white clover. And every fear that I've ever had, -simply disappears- When you say "I love you dad." © Steve Nelson In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair: in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice |

This poem really allowed me to come to terms with the fears that accompany the love one has for their children. But each time I re-read it, I feel a little more at peace about those fears. Thank you In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair: in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice |
