Season's Reasoning It's that time of year For the old to rest And the young to shed old ways As do trees shake off aging leaves To the final embrace of comforting winds Blown from the lips of God Exhaling the breath of a million souls Who deeply inhale Fall's autumn memories And beauties slow decline. That was a real nice poem and I enjoyed it a lot. I enjoy writing about the seasons and Autumn being my favorite of them. This poem gave me the inspiration to write another autumn poem. Cheers |
