like seuss people on my skin here is the big picture picture it my arm I mean with all the little hairs waving like Seuss people on my skin because the air conditioning is turned too high and the office girls make brusque remarks for me to overhear because they know the thermostat not intimately I mean like Seuss people on my skin they know about the thermostat which lives in my office and not in theirs but they don’t know there are two and one turned so high my arm hairs stand up and wave when I hear them in the hall talking for me to overhear like the Seuss people on my skin |

Ed....I recall a story I wrote once where the female's arm hairs stood up when the man she loved came near. Is this the same thing? Or ... is your sense of humor running around there? In any case, you made me smile. ![]() |

RatL, See? This is what I love about your writing! No, don't add another detail! The perfection is in the wanting... the wanting of the poet's explanation, but the ability to form one's own ideas and personal meaning. Take care, Ratleader. It is good to read your writing once again. miscellanea |

Around here, no one claims the thermostat... you make me wonder if somewhere, someone is silently smiling at our shivers. *G* I agree with Huan... this can be read lightly... but so much depth is there. I love the imagery in this... I'll be thinking of your words... and lil Cindy Lou Who... every time the hair stands up on my arms. *G* |
