Tomorrow Will be a Memory The wind speaks in tongues With signs hidden in the night’s languid mood Under the moon’s smile Where shadows spot errs and humility Through the eyes of truth blurred to feign Double vision in shattered glasses leaked in vain A punching bag of invisible souls Sleeping but not able to awake Crying but shedding no tears Sad but framed in a permanent grin A pause between breaths and days Watching destiny triumph over hope As fear is embraced Moments before that final kiss When passion escapes the lips of lovers To silently whisper through open windows, Sins taken for granted And lives misunderstood. Oh I just wanted to tell you that this piece is beyond any doubt, one of those most beautiful ( yet painfully sad pieces I have read for the longest time. Your words reached into the depths of my soul. Outstandingly talented. Illusive.x |

I'm always so happy to have you and your poetry back home Keith. This time, a hauntingly beautiful insight...expressive lines. |

And so it is.....a memory. I do believe there are days that I might be more happy if all of the negative memories could be dealth with and sent far away into the cosmos where they might freeze and become useless .... BUT, that would be a mistake, wouldn't it? Nicely done....as always! |
