WHY? Why now? Why have to be in this life? Every morning, When I wake up , I see you, I feel loved by you, I think of God, Asking why now? Why everything have to be In this life, Where I can find A piece of my broken? Where the words were spoken Why now? Life has only one road, Life has only a moment To cherish, every moment Memories, Why now? It is happening to me, Why now? I thank God For each day, I feind each way, To love, Opened heart, Why now? I asked myself, Why now? Why? |

I'm not sure "why", either... but your poem reminded me of Kurt Vonnegut's poem from his book Cat's Cradle: "Tiger gotta hunt, Bird gotta fly Man gotta sit and wonder why, why, why Tiger gotta sleep, Bird gotta land Man gotta tell himself he understand." Sometimes we may never get the answers but we always learn during our quests... A very good poem! ![]() "Ah! my Be-loved, fill the cup that clears |

Vandana... it seems that you insist on growing in your poetry...I have watched your first poems grow into future poems, and I continue to smile, knowing that you are working in languages foreign, still learning, still enjoying, still reading... Brava, poet.... Write on. ![]() |
