Celebrating 'Universalism' and Diversity! Walk a deep-forest path where only shadows follow, tumbling along with our dreams. Listen for the ‘voice’ of the changing seasons. Taste a cool-bright moonlit Autumn night. Dwell upon the world suspended, in a single drop of dew... or the astonishing artistry of a fleeting flake of snow. Contemplate a sea and sky of infinite motion. Let your mind range far and wide with the ever-rolling clouds. Then try to defend... the small egregious thought that humanities ‘differences’ could ever really matter in any negative way! This magnificent poem reminds me of a photograph I once saw of an astonishing red leaf -- the entire universe represented in it. Beautifully written and greatly enjoyed! |

As always a treat! Your words are totally after my heart. And "differences" are enriching, they should bring us closer, rather than separate us. Love, Margherita |
