I would be silly to consider
that you would be considering
stating for the record here or there
that you were feeling silly
to consider that I might be

but then there are always dreams
that drive reckless along curves
and volunteer to crash and burn
if they are allowed to drown after
in some willingly apathetic ocean

some enemy of love is guilty
of designing weekends and miles
and other men's hands on handles
that open doorway smiles
nonchalantly occasional

when my own are folded in prayer
to a plastic bag filled with sand
where you walked barefoot on friday
with your back to my oblivion
before turning around with a smile

and calling me your screen savor
__________

daark

Incredibly intense write ... makes me pause to take it in in all its powerful poetic beauty.

Bow.

Those second and third stanzas are not be moseyed with too easily.  But they are effective, too effective.

I like this. Strangely, it paints a familiar picture in my mind, but its kind of a blur..perhaps something I've forgot.
Its lovely.
