A reminder to “me”:

Learn from observing things in life
that spark new ways of thinking;
let their energy flow to the heart
so you may become an inspiration
to all that surrounds you.

Grow from your own struggles,
from knowledge you have gained:
from these you'll understand
the acting role you have chosen.

Demonstrate to all
how to be caretaker of the earth;
how to nurture it through this transition.
Teach (but do not preach);
how to fearlessly unlock talents
that some may become an inspiration
to all who see their light, their love
shine through a waning darkness
for the times truly are a'changing!

Maybe tape it on a mirror.
Better yet...recite while looking
into a reflecting pond, surrounded by the harmonious beauty of Nature.

I am particularly fond of:

“Learn from observing things in life
that spark new ways of thinking;
let their energy flow to the heart
so you may become an inspiration
to all that surrounds you.”;

AND:

“Demonstrate to all
how to be caretaker of the earth(!)”;

From one who sees a multiplicity
of ‘dark wolves’ on the horizon…
I hope that indeed there may
come some miraculous time
of ‘waning darkness’ when things
truly are “a ‘changin" in a positive
direction!
