She was lost Amongst my thoughts Where her walks Near the pier Were like dances That shamed those that Walked through The fire that stained The steps that she etched Into every mile That faced her skin Towards the sea Of people that stood In amazement with their jaws Like spoons of silver Channeling their awe Into her legs that begged The ground to move The way she stood As the river took notice Running down the canary’s forest. I remember what it was like To touch her, As if I could be with my lies Entrenched between my toes Feeling a narrow wave That sauntered from her neck To the delicacy of her cheeks That invited crimson red To sit next to my bodies window, As if I were a woodsman With my arms taking Her side and hoping Her hints become whispers To the insides of my Caves long, lost, thoughts.
